Hello, my name is Jade. I am a new mother as of September of 2021 to a beautiful baby boy named Aspen with my love Patrick that I have been with since 2010. We strive to live as naturally and self sufficiently as possible. This is still something that we are constantly learning about and we are still figuring out the best ways to implement this goal. With a baby, I only feel more motivated to pay attention to what I introduce him to, physically, mentally, and socially. Our children are the future, and if we want them to have a better future, we have to give them the tools and ideologies to ensure that future.
This new journey into parenthood has inspired me to share my experiences and also build a platform where other parents can also share theirs. There is no specific rules to being a parent, nor is there any true way to be fully prepared to the wonders of being a parent. I have found that I have had to learn a new found form of patience and what truly living in the moment is all about. That being said, welcome to my blog and to this beautiful journey of life!
One of the big "downfalls" about having kids is all the things you can't do anymore. But I say, it's just a reason to try something new. And a lot of those things like hiking, camping, going to a concert... now you just get the added beauty of watching the look on your child's face as they experience the wonders of our world.
